State and territory government apologies

All state and territory governments have issued an apology to those affected by forced adoption practices, with the exception of the Northern Territory.

Australian Capital Territory
Apology given on 14 August 2012 by the ACT Chief Minister, Katy Gallagher

NT Chief Minister, Andrew Giles on 27 March 2013 expressed the Northern Territory Government's support for the national apology for forced adoption practices given on 21 March 2013.
