The International Legal Services Advisory Council (ILSAC) works to improve the international performance of Australia’s legal and related services.
It does this by:
- providing advice to the Australian Government on policy issues and program coordination
- facilitating communication between the Australian Government and the private sector
- assisting private sector initiatives in gathering, researching and disseminating information.
The council was established in 1990.
