The National Security Resilience Policy Division in the Attorney-General's Department hosts the annual Security in Government (SIG) Conference.
The SIG Conference began in 1987 as a meeting of agency security advisers focusing on protective security issues. Since its inception, attendance at the conference has enabled delegates to engage with public and private sector security experts from a diverse range of fields.
Now an annual event, the SIG Conference is considered one of the premier security conferences on the yearly calendar. Attached to the SIG Conference is an extensive trade exhibition which, on average, features over 100 security-related service providers who work closely with both the government and private sector to provide cutting-edge solutions to protective security issues.
