Intellectual property and copyrightWe are the lead agency for whole-of-government issues on the management of intellectual property and administering all aspects of the Copyright Act 1968.
PrivacyWe assist the Attorney-General to administer the Privacy Act 1988 to protect personal information in the federal public sector and in the private sector.
Human rights and anti-discrimination​We provide legal and policy information on domestic human rights matters and advise the government on international human rights, including human rights treaties to which Australia is a party.
