Thirty-First Annual Report

2006-07

The year 2006-07 was a memorable and productive one. During the year, the Council marked the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary with a seminar and a special anniversary edition of its regular ‘Admin Law’ bulletin. Additionally, the Council all but completed work on a series of best practice guides for administrative decision makers, made substantial progress on its report on coercive information-gathering powers, and commenced work on a project relating to complex business regulation and administrative accountability. The Council also maintained the level of advice that it has provided in previous years, issuing eight letters of advice during the year.
