The Minister for Justice and Customs released the Copyright Law Review Committee's report, Crown Copyright, in April 2005.  This report is the final report of the Committee following its inquiry into Crown copyright.
 
In launching Crown Copyright, the Minister noted in his media release the importance of this report:

'This report represents a significant contribution to the Government's ongoing process of copyright law reform'.

In February 2004 the Committee published an Issues Paper on Crown Copyright (Issues Paper).  The Issues Paper outlined a number of issues arising under its current terms of reference (Terms of Reference).

The Committee published a discussion paper outlining particular issues raised in the submissions and some preliminary views of the Committee.  To view the discussion paper click here.  A consultation forum was held in Sydney on Tuesday 27 July 2004 to discuss key matters arising from submissions.
