Office of Legal Services Coordination

The Office of Legal Services Coordination (OLSC) supports Commonwealth entities to receive consistent and coordinated legal services.

Legal services should:

• be of a high standard
• uphold the public interest
• be sensitive to the context that Commonwealth interests may be broader than those of any one entity.

OLSC also administers the Legal Services Directions 2025. From 2 March 2026, these replaced the Legal Services Directions 2017.
