Overview

The Protective Security Coordination Centre (PSCC), a Division of the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department, is hosting the 21st Security in Government (SIG) Conference at Canberra’s National Convention Centre from 16 – 18 September 2008.

SIG continues to be the largest conference of its type in Australia.

Program

SIG 2008 focuses on The Evolution of Security in government today examining, the Evolution of National Security; changes to E-Security and the Cyber Environment; and New Threats and the Impact on the International Security Environment. The theme is also suggestive of changes to traditional ways of defining and approaching security issues and acknowledges an evolved approach to the security environment by the Government.
