Personal Property Securities - Procurement
In support of the development of the Personal Property Securities Register, the Attorney-General’s Department will undertake various procurements. The Department will conduct these procurements in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines and related Regulations and the procurement processes will be undertaken using open competitive RFT processes. All RFTs will be listed on the Commonwealth Government’s contracting website, AusTender (www.tenders.gov.au).
The Two Procurement Modules
The Department has categorised the scope of goods and services required into specific modules of related requirements. The procurement modules and RFT processes are:
- Module 1: Systems Design, Development and Integration Services required to implement the PPSR, and
- Module 2: Establishment and Operations Management of a Customer Contact Centre required to support the PPSR.
Other procurements covering ICT hardware and testing services will be sought through existing panel contract arrangements during 2009.
Module 1
This RFT closed on Friday 27 June 2008. The tenders are being evaluated and the outcome will be announced in late October 2008.
Module 2
This RFT is due to be released in late September 2008.
