Collecting Societies
Copyright Collecting Societies are non-governmental organisations which administer the rights of copyright owners, ensuring that Australians are rewarded for their creativity. The societies negotiate licences with users and receive payments which they pass onto their members. Each collecting society represents a different aspect of copyright.
