Crime prevention and enforcement
The Attorney-General's Department plays an active role in the prevention and enforcement of criminal law in Australia. The Department also administers a variety of International crime areas.
The Strategic Policy Coordination Branch administers the Australian Government Crime Prevention website, which provides information regarding the National Community Crime Prevention Programme and other areas:
