The Computer Network Vulnerability Assessment (CNVA) Program provides grants to critical infrastructure owners and operators to assist them to identify vulnerabilities in computer systems and related networks, and test their ability to resist exploitation and attack.
The CNVA fact sheet and application form provide further information about the program and application process. An example application is also provided for guidance.
A CNVA panel of consultants has been created to assist applicants. These consultants can undertake computer network vulnerability assessments and related work.
Potential applicants can contact cnva@ag.gov.au for additional information, including the list of CNVA panel consultants.
Owners and operators of Australia’s critical infrastructure can apply for funding under the CNVA Program by completing the application form.
Applications for the ninth round of funding should be received by the Attorney-General’s Department’s E-Security Policy and Coordination Branch by 5.00 pm AEST, Tuesday, 30 September 2008. Should an applicant feel that a project is significant enough to warrant its consideration outside the normal application round timeframe, they can lodge an application at any time.
