Model Letter of Request
Above is a Model Letter of Request based on that provided for use in applying the Hague Convention on the Service of Evidence Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil and Commercial Matters 1965. This letter has been modified for use with requests to or from Australian courts, given that Australia is not party to the Hague Service convention. The information required by this model letter is generally applicable for any request.
