The recommendations of the Model Criminal Code Officers Committee Report on Double Jeopardy were considered by the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General at its meeting on 18-19 March 2004.   This matter remains with the Standing Committee of Attorney-Generals.

The Report above was developed in response to public feedback received on the Model Criminal Code Officers Committee Discussion Paper on Double Jeopardy, which was released in November 2003.
