Telecommunications interception policy review - May 1999
During the passage of amendments to the Telecommunications (Interception) Act 1979 ('the Interception Act') in 1997 the Parliament inserted a provision requiring a review to be carried out of the provisions conferring a power to issue warrants on nominated members of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal ('AAT').
