Indian Oceans Government Gazettes and Community Bulletins
The Attorney-General's Department (AGD) issues a range of information to the public.
Information for residents and stakeholders issued from January 2005 is available. The categories include:
- Government Gazettes
The Indian Ocean Territories issues its own Government Gazettes. These are official publications which provides information about government matters and makes government announcements including proclamations, appointments, delegations and fees and charges, which relate to the Territories of Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
- Community Bulletins
Bulletins are issued by the AGD CI to inform residents and stakeholders of IOT about important community information.
- Office of the Administrator - Community Bulletins
Bulletins are issued by the Administrator regarding important community information including changes to local laws and emergency management issues.
- IOTHS Community Bulletins
The Indian Ocean Territories Health Service is part of AGD. It manages the provision of health services on both the Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Christmas Island. Bulletins are issued by the IOTHS to inform residents and stakeholders of IOT about important community information.

Information relating to Christmas Island is also published in the local Christmas Island fortnightly paper, The Islander, which is published and distributed by the Shire of Christmas Island.
