Draft Kingston and Arthur's Vale Area Management Plan

Public Notice – KAVHA Management Plan for Public Comment

The Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area (KAVHA), located on Norfolk Island, is a place on the National Heritage List. The Australian Government has prepared a draft amendment to the management plan for KAVHA.

In accordance with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC), Publication of notice about management plan for National heritage places (section 324S), the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department invites members of the general public, both on Norfolk Island and elsewhere, the Norfolk Island Administration, and any other persons with rights and interests in the KAVHA Management Plan, to provide written submissions relating to the draft plan by close of business, Monday, 17 March 2008.

Copies of the draft plan will also be on display at the KAVHA Secretary’s Office, the Office of the Administrator and the Norfolk Island library.
