Graduate selection process

Applications open: Thursday 15 March 2018, 9am AEDT

We want to get to know you, your experiences and the skills you can bring to the department through our selection process.

We aim to make the process a positive experience that gives you a real insight into the Attorney-General's Department.

There is one application for both streams. The application process allows you to select one stream or both. The stages in the selection process apply to both streams.

You will need to provide a current CV and your most recently completed academic transcript (PDF formats are preferred).

The selection process consists of five stages:

  • Stage one: Online written application
  • Stage two: Video interviews
  • Stage three: Online behavioural profile
  • Stage four: Face-to-face assessment centre in Canberra
  • Stage five: Formal offers made.
