Any personal information (such as your name or telephone number) that you provide when contacting the Attorney-General’s Department will be used for the purposes of responding to you as appropriate in the circumstances. Depending on the nature of your enquiry, this may involve disclosing your personal information and/or redirecting your enquiry to another Australian or state or territory government agency. It will not ordinarily include disclosing your personal information overseas.
Enquiries, feedback and complaints
Our feedback handling process ensures that enquiries, feedback and complaints are resolved promptly and satisfactorily and that our procedures are improved where possible. We will investigate and try to resolve complaints and enquiries in accordance with our Client Service Charter. We report on the operation of the Client Service Charter, including complaints received and the resolution of those complaints in our annual report.
