The Attorney-General’s Department welcomes comments and feedback on Australia’s draft combined report on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict, and the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

Additional information about Australia’s reporting to the United Nations is also available on the United Nations human rights reporting and Treaty body reporting pages.

Making a submission

Please address all responses to humanrights@ag.gov.au.

All responses must be received by close of business on 20 November 2017. Submissions will not be published on this website, but submissions or comments are generally subject to freedom of information provisions.  

The final report will be provided to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in January 2018, as requested by the Committee.
