The Attorney-General's Department welcomes comments and feedback on Australia's draft combined second and third periodic report to the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The draft report has been prepared in response to 35 key issues identified by the committee in its List of issues prior to reporting. The content of the final report is limited to these key issues and there is a strict limit of 21,200 words.

Making a submission

All submissions should be sent to humanrights@ag.gov.au and must be received by 5pm AEST on Wednesday 11 July 2018. Extensions to this deadline are not possible.

The final report will be provided to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in September 2018, as requested by the committee.
