The following two reports are part of the Longitudinal Study of Separated Parents. They complete the Families project component of the 2006 family law reforms evaluation. They were finalised by AIFS in December 2010.

Parenting dynamics after separation: A follow-up study of parents who separated after the 2006 family law reforms

This study examined the pathways that separating families have taken through the family law system, and the impact the changes to the family law system have had on these families.

Adolescents study: Views of adolescents in separated families—A study of adolescents' experiences after the 2006 reforms to the family law system

This study aims to understand how adolescent children view their experience of parental separation in the context of the 2006 family law reforms.
