 CERT Australia

Cyber security is one of the Australian Government’s highest national security priorities.

This department works closely with a range of agencies to address cyber security issues in government, the private sector and the Australian community.

CERT Australia is the national computer emergency response team, working with major Australian businesses, providing cyber security advice and support to critical infrastructure and other systems of national interest.

CERT Australia works closely with other Australian Government agencies and international CERTs, to provide Australian businesses with the best advice possible, as soon as possible. It is also a key element in the Australian Cyber Security Centre, sharing information and working closely with the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, the Australian Federal Police, the Australian Signals Directorate, the Defence Intelligence Organisation and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.

CERT Australia Cyber Crime and Security Survey Report

The Cyber Crime and Security Survey was designed to obtain a better understanding of how cyber incidents are affecting the businesses that partner with CERT Australia.

The findings from the 2013 survey provide a picture of the current cyber security measures these businesses have in place; the recent cyber incidents they have experienced; and their reporting of them.

The full report is available from the CERT Australia website.
