In this section...

Cyber security
Australia's national security, economic prosperity and social wellbeing rely on the availability, integrity and confidentiality of a range of information and communications technology.

Freedom of information
We make a range of information available for public access. You can also formally request access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to documents we hold.

Human rights and anti-discrimination
We provide legal and policy information on domestic human rights matters and advise the government on international human rights, including human rights treaties to which Australia is a party.

Privacy
We assist the Attorney-General to administer the Privacy Act 1988 to protect personal information in the federal public sector and in the private sector.
