The Attorney-General's Department welcomed comments and feedback on Australia's draft combined second and third periodic report to the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Consultation paper

The draft report was prepared in response to 35 key issues identified by the committee in its List of issues prior to reporting. The content of the final report will be limited to these key issues and there is a strict limit of 21,200 words.

In 2018, the draft report for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (combined second and third periodic report) was published for comment.

Final report

The final report will be provided to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in September 2018, as requested by the committee.
