Recovering your stolen identity

If you suspect you are a victim of identity theft, it is important that you act quickly to take steps to minimise financial or other damages. To assist you, we have developed the Recovering Your Identity guide.

If you have been a victim of identity theft, you may be eligible for a Commonwealth Victim's Certificate. For more information, visit the Victims of Commonwealth identity crime page.

iDcare

iDcare is a new national support centre for victims of identity crime. iDcare offers a free service to assist victims with repairing the damage to their reputation, credit history and identity information. For more information visit the iDcare website or call 1300 432 273.
