On 2 August 2019, the Attorney-General announced legislative amendments to allow reporting of consumer financial hardship information. The amendments will indicate to credit providers those customers who have entered into financial hardship arrangement and enable people experiencing financial difficulty to demonstrate good credit reporting behaviour by complying with the hardship arrangement.
Office of Legal Services Coordination - Guidance Note 5 - Practical guidelines for entities to follow when a constitutional issue emerges in litigation to which it is a party. These guidelines will help entities comply with their obligations pursuant to paragraph 12.3(a) of the Directions.
