2020 Stakeholder Survey

One of the ways that the department measures its performance is through an annual stakeholder survey. A number of stakeholders have been nominated to participate in this year's survey.

EY Sweeney is conducting the 2020 survey on behalf of the department. A link to the online survey will be emailed to nominated stakeholders in June 2020. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous and confidential.

Our role

We deliver programs and policies to maintain and improve Australia's law and justice framework, and to facilitate jobs growth through policies that promote fair, productive, flexible and safe workplaces. Through the Australian Government Solicitor, we also provide legal services to the Commonwealth, including legal advice and representation.

We are the central policy and coordinating element of the Attorney-General's portfolio.

Strategic workforce plan

Multicultural access and equity plan (MAEP)

The department's Multicultural Access and Equity Plan (MAEP) provides a framework to support our commitment to multicultural access and inclusion in the way we work and in the outcomes we deliver, specifically for people of CALD backgrounds.

APS employee census results

The APS employee census is an annual opinion survey. The Australian Public Service Commission sends it to all APS employees. It collects information on important workforce issues, such as:

  • job satisfaction
  • employee engagement
  • performance management
  • leadership
  • general impressions of the APS.
