Caretaker conventions now in place

Ahead of the 2025 federal election the Australian Government has assumed a caretaker role.

We are operating in accordance with caretaker conventions.

The council provided a letter of advice to the former Attorney-General which reviews the binding financial agreements provisions in Parts VIII and VIIIA of the Family Law Act 1975.
