Breaches of the Lobbying Code of Conduct

A third-party lobbyist who is not registered or who fails to meet the requirements of the Lobbying Code of Conduct (the Code) may be in breach.

Government representatives who are concerned about a potential breach by a lobbyist should decline to meet with them. Clause 9.1 of the Code requires you to report any breaches of the Code to the Secretary of the Attorney-General's Department.

Reports can be made by emailing or calling (02) 6141 2666 between 0900 – 1200 and 1400 – 1700 ADST, Monday to Friday. Alternatively, breaches can be reported through the Enquiry form on this website.
