Integrity Information and Resources
The Integrity Information and Resources document complements the Commonwealth Integrity Strategy.
We developed the strategy and accompanying resources Department in partnership with the Australian Public Service Commission. This work delivers on commitments made by government and the Secretaries Board to develop an integrity strategy in response to Australia’s Third Open Government Partnership National Action Plan and the Louder than Words report.
This Integrity Information and Resources document outlines key information, considerations, guidance and resources for public officials, as well as those outside the Commonwealth public sector seeking information on the Commonwealth integrity system.
This document sets out the Commonwealth integrity system at-a-glance. This consists of:
- public officials
- leaders
- agency-level strategies
- policies and tools
- integrity agencies
- legislative requirements.
It offers an integrity information directory with a high-level overview of the key legislation, frameworks, guidance and resources for each area. Other integrity resources and networks are also listed.
We encourage leaders and public officials who are responsible for integrity functions to be familiar with these information and resources, alongside the strategy, to create a stronger foundation of integrity across all that we do.
