2025
Staff Sergeant Ms Josephine Bata, Officer in Charge of the Legislative Review Unit, Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) (Solomon Islands) project consisted of progressing a review of the Police Act 2013 and Regulations.
Mr Lenry Young, Principal State Prosecutor, Office of the Public Prosecutor (Vanuatu) worked on developing drafting instructions for a Whistleblowers Bill.
Ms Utul Marat, Acting Director at the Department of Justice and Attorney General (Papua New Guinea) progressed a policy project focusing on the policy basis and legislative drafting instructions to amend PNG’s United Nations Financial Sanctions Act, with a particular focus on proliferation financing and terrorism financing law reform.
2024
Senior Magistrate Corinna Laafai, Senior Magistrates Court, Office of the Prime Minister (Tuvalu) project involved developing draft sentencing guidelines for use by Senior Magistrates and Magistrates in sentencing offenders convicted of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) offences.
Taua Mr Beau Jacek Tuala, Assistant Chief Executive Officer Legal Division, Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections Services (Samoa) project consisted of establishing a draft governance policy framework for the Safer City CCTV Network which will support the rollout of CCTV in key areas of Samoa’s capital city, Apia.
2023
Letiara Pellie, Principal Legal Officer, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Solomon Islands) worked on developing a policy paper for legal reform of the Solomon Islands Evidence Act 2009 to include the special arrangement of allowing vulnerable witnesses to give their evidence via audio-visual recording.
Henty Grace Pin, Human Rights Officer, Ministry of Justice (Kiribati) project involved developing a policy paper proposing the development of a Bail Act on all matters pertaining to police and court bail processes in Kiribati for people aged 18 and above, excluding extradition maters.

Margaret Suifa’asia, Chief Legal Officer, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Solomon Islands) worked on developing Guidelines for Prosecutors and Witness Support Officers for Supporting Witnesses Throughout the Prosecution of Sexual Offences.
Rachel Vapuak, Lawyer Department of Justice and Attorney General (Papua New Guinea) project was developing an Issues Paper on the Family Protection Act Implementation in PNG.
2019
Superintendent Amelia Vakasokolaca Rokotuivuna, Deputy Director Police Prosecution, Fiji Police Force (Fiji) project was developing a national policy on drug handling and disposal by Fiji Police.
Teanneki Nemta, Senior State Attorney, Office of the Attorney General (Kiribati) project consisted of a review of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Immanual Sawan, Legal Officer Department of Justice and Attorney General (Papua New Guinea) project was drafting Baseline Assessment and National Drugs Strategy.
Florence Yalided Ramoni Tagini, Senior Crown Counsel, Attorney General’s Chambers (Solomon Islands) project involved preparing drafting instructions for the development of a Cybercrime Bill.
2018
Rose Kaybing, Senior Legal Officer, Department of Police, Corrective Services and Justice & Office of the Principal Legal Officer (Autonomous Region of Bougainville - Papua New Guinea) worked on developing policy papers to support the Shaping Bougainville Justice in order to develop a policing and justice system that is unique to Bougainville.
Melissa Ako, Crown Counsel, Office of the Attorney General (Tuvalu) project involved drafting instructions for Tuvalu’s Cybercrime Bill.
‘Inoke Finau, Assistant Crown Counse,l Attorney-General’s Office (Tonga) project was a review of Tonga’s Illicit Drugs Control Act 2003.
Kyla Venokana, Senior Legal Policy Officer, Legal Policy Unit, MJLA (Solomon Islands) worked on Codification of bail law.
2017
Felix Hollison, Senior Crown Counsel, Attorney-General’s Chambers (Solomon Islands); Kylie Wilson, Senior Legislative Drafter, Office of the Attorney General (Samoa); Louise Nasak, Capacity Development Coordinator, Ministry of Justice and Community Services (Vanuatu), all worked on projects to strengthen their legislative framework to combat cybercrime in line with the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime.
2016
Glenys Andrews, Senior Legal Officer, Office of the Solicitor-General (Fiji) worked on a review of Fiji’s cybercrime laws to strengthen Fiji’s capacity to combat cybercrime.
Jimmy Kency Kalopong, Legal Officer, Vanuatu Police Force (Vanuatu) project was a review of the Vanuatu Police Act to strengthen police professional standards.
Godfrey Male, Senior Legal Officer, Law Reform Commission (Solomon Islands) project involved a review of criminal trespass laws in the Solomon Islands Penal Code.
Freda Nii Enn, Principal Legal Officer, Department of Justice and Attorney-General (Papua New Guinea) worked on a review of the Extradition Act 2005 (PNG) to clarify drafting.
2015
‘Akanesi Katoa, Assistant Crown Counsel, Attorney-General’s Office (Tonga) project was a review of Tonga’s law and justice legislation in line with international human rights principles.
Daniel Suluia, Senior Legal Officer, Law Reform Commission (Solomon Islands) worked on a review of the public order offences in the Solomon Islands Penal Code.
Utul Marat, Principal Legal Officer, Department of Justice and Attorney-General (Papua New Guinea) project consisted of Implementing the PNG Combatting Corruption project.
2014
Pauline Beiatau, Director of Public Prosecutions (Kiribati) project was a review of the rape and sexual assault provisions in the Kiribati Penal Code.
Leotrina Macomber, Assistant Crown Counsel, Attorney-General’s Office (Tonga) worked on a review of Tonga’s cybercrime and mutual assistance laws to identify reforms to support Tonga’s accession to the Council of Europe’s Convention on Cybercrime.
