Community Legal Services Program 2025–2030
The Community Legal Services Program (CLSP) 2025–2030 provides funding to legal assistance services across the community. This includes services to:
- women
- children and young people
- people experiencing family and gender-based violence
- those representing themselves in court
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The Australian Government will provide $67.5 million over 5 years in grants under the CLSP. Recipients include national legal assistance peaks, national services and self-representation services.
The program aims to help provide legal assistance to the community by funding national legal assistance service delivery and activities that complement the states and territories’ delivery of community legal services under the National Access to Justice Partnership 2025–2030 (NAJP).
The NAJP is a 5-year agreement between Commonwealth and state and territory governments, working in partnership, to enhance access to justice for people experiencing vulnerability and financial disadvantage.
